This is a very clean lake with almost no vegetation. Only a small bar that runs into the lake and a few pads along the side have plant life, and it is very easy to trawl. There are a lot of downed trees that reach into the lake and look to be some great targets. I cast at almost all of them and got nothing. With that much good cover they must have not wanted what i was giving.
Mason County’s Devereaux Lake covers 100 surface acres, reaches depths of about 50 feet (depending on time of year and weather conditions) and is located at an elevation of 215 feet.
