Beachdale Pond Description

BEACHDALE POND, Voluntown (46 acres) Species: (LMB T YP BB) Season: Open 6:00 am 3rd Saturday April-last day February. Other: 8 mph speed limit.Facilities for disabled.Cartop boat launching area.Beachdale Pond is a quite wet place with plenty of precipitation, the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the warmest time of the year here at Beachdale Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's, nights are a bit cooler of course, usually in the 60's. During the winter months highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Beachdale Pond. Pachaug River, Voluntown. Located at the Beachdale Pond Boat Launching Area off Rte 49. A wooden ramp leads to a 6-ft. x 12-ft. fishing deck. Brown bullheads, largemouth bass, yellow perch.
