This location was not kind to me today. I did not even get a nibble, and for some reason the weed beds all looked like they were killed off. There were huge brown spots and decay, looking a lot like late fall.

Avery Pond located in Preston, Connecticut is 25.7 acres and has been developed with homes on the western side. The pond can be accessed by a state boat launch and has no outboard motor restrictions, although an 8 mph speed limit is enforced.
